Two Royal Papworth Hospital members of staff celebrated the completion of apprenticeship training at a special event recently.

Junior Project Manager Ashleigh Clennell and Healthcare Support Worker Lanie Valentino attended the National Apprenticeship Service Graduation Ceremony at IWM Duxford on 9 March.

Ashleigh recently completed a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship and Lanie completed a Level 3 Clinical Healthcare Apprenticeship.

Julie Ford, Lead Apprenticeship Co-ordinator at Royal Papworth Hospital, said: “Apprenticeships are work-based courses which can be used to develop your current role or to prepare you for career progression.

“We are currently supporting staff to study apprenticeships in Business Administration, Project Management, Healthcare and Nursing and are planning to develop apprenticeships in other areas too."
