Following a fire in car park 1 on the biomedical campus on Saturday (13 December), there will be increased demand in our closest car park - car park 2.

It is not yet known when car park 1 will reopen. 

Please use alternative travel arrangements where possible - such as using the park and ride - to help ensure staff, patients and visitors who need to park in car park 2 are able to.

If you need to park in car park 2, please allow extra time for your journey and car share where possible.

Our nearest park and ride sites are Trumpington and Babraham and additional buses are being put on during peak times to and from Trumpington.

Due to busway works, the Trumpington Park and Ride route is on diversion but still stops at Royal Papworth.

There are a small number of spaces outside our hospital to allow for patients to be dropped-off or picked-up. These have a maximum 30-minute stay limit. We also have six blue badge spaces with a maximum stay of four hours.
