We are holding a Special Members’ Meeting to discuss a change to the constitution of Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Any change to the constitution requires approval by the members in a Members’ Meeting.
The change we are seeking approval for is the creation of an additional voting executive director and non-executive director role on the trust Board. The rationale for this change is to provide additional senior leadership capacity and expertise to progress a number of the trust’s key strategic objectives.
We previously sought approval to trial this change for six months. The Council of Governors and Trust Board, having reviewed the impact so far of these additional roles, has decided that they should be permanently established.
In order to enact this change, it requires the constitution to be amended.
All foundation trust members are warmly invited to the meeting where you will be invited to vote on the proposal(s).
The meeting will take place online only on Monday 30 June from 15:00 to 15:30.
